Agency: Russia’s new LCV market rises 1.8% to 9,000 units in Sep
MOSCOW, Oct 9 (PRIME) -- The Russian market of new light commercial vehicles (LCVs) rose 1.8% on the year to 9,000 cars in September, research agency Autostat reported on Wednesday.
In the month, carmaker GAZ Group maintained the leading position with sales rising 7.4% to 4,100 vehicles. Sales of UAZ dropped 5.7% to 1,200 units, of Ford rose 1.9% to 1,100 units, of AvtoVAZ’ brand Lada went up 20.5% to 1,000 cars, and of Volkswagen shrank 0.7% to 456 units.
In January–September, the market fell 3% on the year to 78,200 cars.
